Can a company be blacklisted if they don’t comply with labour law?

Recently I joined an IT company in Pune and find company is not adhering to labor laws compliance. There is no employees records and registers, only management team handling the records in their system only. There is no proper HR and documentation process, even new joined employees don’t have any joining letter and on-boarding system.
I decided to leave the company soon. Can this company be blacklisted if find non- compliance of labour laws and policies?

Non-compliance with labor laws, in general, would be visited with the imposition of penalty including imprisonment by a Competent Criminal Court upon complaint depending on the nature of the contravention as prescribed in the penal provision of the concerned law.

Violation of license conditions would result in the cancelation of the license already issued. In case of continuing offenses, there is provision for day-to-day basis fines till compliance is restored.

To my knowledge in USA based, no provision for black-listing an employer/any person based on past violations of labor laws.

To answer your question regarding labor laws in your situation, checking the jurisdiction where you work as well as the industry-specific legal documentation on the issue is the best place to start.  Typically, once violations are validated or confirmed by these leading authorities, it would be the responsibility of those entities to determine the appropriate actions needed as punishment.
