    Family and personal urgency may be any time. If your Child is keeping ill and you have to be there by his side then you can always write a leave extension application to your boss asking him or her to extend your leave by a certain number of days. For your reference, we have included a sample leave extension email.

    Leave Extension Due To Child Illness

    Dated: 15th March,2022

    Sub: Regarding Extension of Leave

    Dear Sir,

    I am writing this letter to request you to kindly extend my leave by two days as my child is still not keeping well. I had submitted a leave application for three days from 11th March, 2022 to 14th March, 2022 and now I am in need of another two days leave i.e. 15th March, 2022 and 16th March, 2022 so that I can take care of my child during his illness.

    I will make sure that I am able to resume my work by 17th March, 2022.  During these two days, I will be available on call as and when needed. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
