When it comes to office festivities, Diwali is really important. Here are some suggestions for how to celebrate Diwali at the workplace while also boosting employee morale.

    Diwali decorations at workplace

Decorate the office’s interior for Diwali with flowers, diyas, lights, candles, handmade decorations, and of course, Rangoli. Make your office appear like a dreamland this Diwali by splitting up the decorating tasks. Competition for cubicle decorations. Invite staff to embellish their spaces. Winner gets a prize.

Dress Code: Traditional and Ethnic Wear

Dressing up in traditional wear like suits, sarees, Lehengas, Kurta pyjamas, indo-western clothes, and more is crucial because Diwali is a celebration of the rich Indian culture and traditions. On the day of Diwali, the company’s workers can arrive dressed in their best ethnic attire to look their best. The emphasis of the day is on valuing India’s traditional and respectful culture. Awards may be given to Ms./Mr. Corporation name>>.

    Rangoli Making Competition

The majority of workplaces hold Rangoli contests for the staff. It is a great idea to gather everyone together to unleash their secret talent because Rangoli is a big component of the Diwali celebrations. The bold colours splashed on the floor will give the workplace interiors a completely new appearance.

    Organize Diwali Games for Employees

The Diwali celebrations in offices start with this, which is undoubtedly the most enjoyable aspect. All of the company’s employees will play games like Damsharas, Bingo, Musical Chairs, and others that will bring out their inner children. Putting them into teams will foster a sense of teamwork among them and enable them to collaborate more effectively with the aim of seeing their team succeed in front of them.

    Organize Diwali DJ

The finest treatment for living in the now and letting go of daily concerns is dancing. By encouraging your staff to dance to the season’s most well-liked dance songs, you may make them enjoy the Diwali festivities. Plan a Diwali DJ party for the entire office so that everyone can enjoy themselves with their coworkers.

    Dinner/Lunch Party on Diwali

On Diwali, throw a delicious lunch or dinner party for your staff that includes tangy and spicy snacks, mouthwatering main courses, and sweet desserts like sweets, cakes, and ice cream. The rounds of cocktails and mocktails will add to the fun of the celebrations. The joy of the celebrations is increased even further by having this meal or this lunch together while chatting and exchanging ideas and experiences.

    Have a Selfie Booth

You can even set up a photo booth area with various accessories like wigs, praying beads, a giant moustache, a big crown, etc. Employees can take pictures here.

    Exchange of Gifts

Offices do give out special Diwali gifts to show their appreciation and attention for their employees’ devotion and hard work. On this auspicious day, each employee is treated with respect, and lovely presents are given out as Diwali greetings.
