I would pick somewhere in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.

These three states are on the rise economically and culturally. North Carolina is a hub of medical and technological research. Georgia is making moves to potentially become a viable rival to Hollywood. South Carolina is benefiting from unprecedented investment by big-name companies like BMW and Boeing. The weather is great, this past week excluded, and the majority of people are genuinely friendly.

There are a number of large and medium-sized cities and small towns that would be great places for a family. Some examples include Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah, Athens, and Columbus, Georgia; Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Asheville, and Wilmington, North Carolina; and Charleston, Greenville, Columbia, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

    Hi,

First of all, I wish you the best for migrating to the USA. Now, let me answer the question which is quite important for you as it’s going to be a start of your life in a whole new place USA.

So, on your questions, “What is the best state to live in USA”? I would give my wholesome recommendation to “Washington”.

Reason to recommend this state for living in the USA is because it requires less living cost, best yearly median wage, workplace safety, low unemployment rate, and no state income tax.

As you have mentioned that you are a “Freelance Content Writer”, the parameters mentioned above for a perfect state to live are important. Reason because being a freelancer you would seek connecting with good companies where you find good amount of work, timely and decent payout, and should have less burden of state income tax.

In the Washington, from all other US-states, you will observe better employment opportunities, good and safe working environment, low living cost, and better lifestyle.

In addition to Washington, if you are seeking recommendations for other states in USA for living then, here are few for your consideration –

    • Michigan
    • Minnesota
    • Texas
    • Illinois

So, go with the one that best suit your needs and have a great life ahead in the USA.

    Happy moving!
