    Billing Coordinator Job Description

    The person who involved in this job profile has to look after all type of billing operation of the company which includes, bills, invoices, outstanding payments or any type of billing-related issues. The billing coordinator of the company is also responsible to handle the client’s complaint and resolve their issues related to the billing payments.

    Roles and responsibilities

    • The responsibility of the Billing Coordinator includes the work of al types of billing operations of the company.
    • Assist with another department of the company to ensure billing accuracy.
    • Handle the clients in resolving their issues and problems related to the bills and invoices.
    • Responsible to create and manage the client’s account.
    • Take actions and show efforts to clear all the outstanding payments.
    • The billing Coordinator should also work for the Reconciling of the accounting discrepancies.
    • Responsible to prepare and send all the invoices for the payments.
    • Candidate should able to answer the superiors which are related to the billings.
    • Work according to the billing related legal rules and regulations of the company.
    • Work confidentially with the financial and accounting team to manage the billing entries in the books of accounts.

    Billing coordinator key skills required

    • Good communication skills to handle customers.
    • In-depth knowledge of the relevant laws related to the billings.
    • Candidate should be professional, confident, loyal and trustworthy to provide benefits to the company.
    • Good computer knowledge and other software applications related to the billing procedure.
    • Candidate should have good numerical and mathematical skills to perform the accurate billing process.
    • Time management is important so that all the bills and invoices should be prepared, send and received on time.

    Education, training, and Certifications

    • Bachelor or master’s degree in the field of accounts, finance, business administration or other relevant streams from a recognized university.
    • Certificate of basic computer course including MS Office.
