Here are some suggestions to help you feel happier and more energised all day long.
Analyse your daily activity
Examine your daily activities identify any activity that drain your vitality. Do you rush to work after skipping breakfast? Maybe, like many of us, you turn to sugar or caffeine to give a quick energy boost only to experience a crash later? Making a list of your energy drains could result in an epiphany that inspires action to change them.
Even a minor improvement can help you gain significant benefits. In addition to giving your eyes a break from the computer screen, eating lunch outside can also boost your mood and emotional vigour.
Take a Proper Sleep
Good-quality sleep offers you the strength to face a new day. On the other hand, getting poor quality sleep can reduce your productivity.
Try missing the afternoon cup of coffee, staying away from alcohol at night, and going to bed at the same time every night so that you may get eight hours of sleep if you’re having trouble sleeping through the night or feeling tired in the morning.
Try jotting down your thoughts early in the evening if your mind won’t go to sleep. You can get some rest, then return to your list the next day.
Take time for rest
Just think about our heartbeat, it’s meant to rise and fall throughout the day as per demand… Human beings are made to pulse between spending energy and replenishing energy. Our brainwaves are designed to shift from high frequency electrical activity to a lower frequency at night so you can sleep.
Give rest breaks more importance if you want to feel more energised, and don’t feel bad about it. Take regular breaks during the day, and consider booking that relaxing vacation.
Do Yoga DailyÂ
A few sun salutation rounds in the morning can provide your body a good stretch and a boost of energy.
There are various types of yoga, and each incorporates breath, movement, and meditation to varying degrees.
If you are already feeling exhausted, restorative yoga, which employs more passive positions like lying with your legs up the wall, is an excellent option for recharging your energy.
Don’t take Stress
Worrying about things that won’t happen in the future or dwelling on things that have already happened in the past is one of the biggest sources of loss of mental, emotional, and physical energies
We become more exhausted at the end of the day when we do that all day, every day, in addition to feeling pressured and concerned. Additionally, it causes what is known as a “allostatic load” on our body, which over time speeds up the development of numerous diseases.
Both mindfulness meditation and cognitive behaviour therapy are powerful techniques for teaching yourself to stop worrying.
Stay HydratedÂ
The key to maintaining your energy levels throughout the day is to drink enough of water. Increasing your water intake can help you feel less tired, happier, and more capable of eliminating pollutants. A male should consume 13 cups of fluids each day, while a woman should consume 9 cups in order to maintain a healthy body. You can get up and move by setting a reminder to fill your water bottle every hour. This will also help you remember to sip on water throughout the day.
